High-level structural steelwork around the South Stand at Old Trafford required cleaning, preparation and recoating to address deterioration and restore a consistent finish.
The solution
Rope access allowed LRA technicians to reach exposed elements efficiently. Existing surfaces were cleaned and prepared before a new protective coating system was applied, with RAMS, site documentation, passes and Manchester United policies observed throughout.
